How To Make American-style Pineapple & Banana Pancakes
No breakfast is complete without hot stacks of delicious pancakes! You may not be a morning person now, but with our yummy pancake recipes you certainly will be! Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 cup canned pineapple chunks, drained and chopped
- Butter or oil for cooking
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, mashed banana, and chopped pineapple.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and brush with butter or oil.

Spoon 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

Repeat with the remaining batter.

Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup.
