How To Make Scampi with tartare sauce

Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp chopped dill pickles
- 1 tbsp capers, drained and chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp finely chopped fresh parsley

In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and black pepper. Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chopped dill pickles, capers, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and parsley to make tartare sauce.

Serve the crispy shrimp with the tartare sauce on the side.
