Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 25 minutes
Total: 40 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets (such as cod or haddock)
  • 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Cooking spray
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Tartare Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pickles
  • 1 tablespoon chopped capers
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Dip each fish fillet into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to coat both sides. Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. In a separate bowl, toss the potato fries with cornstarch until evenly coated. Arrange the fries on another baking sheet coated with cooking spray.

  5. Bake the fish fillets and potato fries in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping the fillets halfway through cooking.

  6. While the fish and chips are baking, prepare the tartare sauce. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, pickles, capers, parsley, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

  7. Serve the baked fish & chips hot, with a side of tartare sauce and lemon wedges.
