Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 white fish fillets (such as cod or haddock)
- 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Cooking spray
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Tartare Sauce:
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons chopped pickles
- 1 tablespoon chopped capers
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
-
Dip each fish fillet into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to coat both sides. Place the coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
-
In a separate bowl, toss the potato fries with cornstarch until evenly coated. Arrange the fries on another baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
-
Bake the fish fillets and potato fries in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping the fillets halfway through cooking.
-
While the fish and chips are baking, prepare the tartare sauce. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, pickles, capers, parsley, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
-
Serve the baked fish & chips hot, with a side of tartare sauce and lemon wedges.
