How To Make Quick Salmon Piccata

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons capers
Instructions

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Dredge them in flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter. Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.

Serve the salmon piccata over cooked pasta and spoon the sauce over the top.
