How To Make Steamed Mussels Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh mussels
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions

Rinse and scrub mussels under cold water. Discard any open or cracked shells.

In a large pot, add white wine, garlic, and butter. Bring to a boil.

Add mussels and cover the pot. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the mussels have opened.

Discard any unopened mussels and season with salt and pepper.

Serve in bowls with the cooking broth and sprinkled with chopped parsley.
