Ingredients
- 2 lbs. fresh mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bottle of beer (12 oz.)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add in garlic and onions, sauté until onions are translucent.

Pour in the beer and chicken broth, bring to a boil.

Add in the fresh thyme and mussels. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the mussels have opened.

Remove from heat. Discard any unopened mussels.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and season with salt and pepper.

Serve immediately with bread or fries.
