How To Make Mussels in White Wine Sauce Recipe
A classic French seafood dish with flavorful white wine sauce.

Ingredients
- 3 lbs of fresh mussels
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- A handful of fresh parsley leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Clean and debeard mussels, discard any open ones.

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.

Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add garlic and continue cooking for another minute.

Add white wine, chicken broth, salt, and pepper to the pan and bring it to a simmer.

Add mussels and cover the pan. Cook until the mussels have opened, about 5-6 minutes.

Discard any unopened mussels.

Stir in chopped parsley and serve hot with bread.
