How To Make Mussels in Lemon Herb Sauce Recipe
Tender mussels soaked in a tangy sauce of lemon and fresh herbs, perfect for a dinner party or special occasion.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh mussels, scrubbed and debearded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add wine and chicken broth to the pan and bring to a simmer.

Add mussels and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until mussels have opened.

Remove the mussels from the pan with a slotted spoon and place them on a warm serving platter.

Increase the heat and add butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.

Pour the sauce over the mussels, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
