How To Make Harissa Fish Pie

Ingredients
- 500g white fish fillets
- 1 tbsp harissa paste
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large pan, heat some oil and sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant.

Add the harissa paste and mix well.

Add the fish fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until slightly browned.

Remove the fish from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, melt the butter and whisk in the flour to make a roux.

Gradually pour in the vegetable broth and milk, whisking constantly until smooth.

Add the red bell pepper and peas to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked fish back into the pan and mix well.

In a separate pot, boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with some butter, salt, and pepper.

Transfer the fish mixture to a baking dish and top with the mashed potatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.

Serve the Harissa Fish Pie hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
