- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
-
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
-
Grill the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

While the chicken is resting, spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.

Place the bread butter-side down and spread pesto on the other side of each slice.
-
Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of the pesto on four slices of bread.
-
Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and divide them equally among the four slices of bread with cheese.
-
Top the chicken with another slice of bread, pesto-side down.
-
Heat a panini press or a skillet over medium heat.
-
Place the sandwiches in the press or skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is crispy and golden and the cheese is melted.

-
Slice each panini in half and serve hot.
