How To Make Tri Tip Roast

Ingredients
- 2 lbs tri tip roast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

Place the tri tip roast on a baking sheet and rub the spice mixture all over the roast, making sure it is evenly coated.

Roast the tri tip in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare or 145°F (63°C) for medium.

Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute and ensures a tender and juicy roast.
