Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds beef tri-tip
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, dried thyme, and dried oregano.

  3. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the beef tri-tip, ensuring it is evenly coated.

  4. Place the tri-tip on the grill or in a roasting pan in the oven.

  5. Cook for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.

  6. Remove the tri-tip from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.

  7. Serve the beef tri-tip with your favorite sides and enjoy!
