How To Make Crispy Roasted Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Remove any giblets from the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.

Rub the chicken all over with olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the chicken, rubbing it in to adhere.

Place the chicken on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.

Roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
