  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary) for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. Heat oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Place the chicken breasts skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy.

  5. Flip the chicken breasts and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.

  6. Roast for about 15 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  7. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  8. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
