How To Make Easy Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe

- 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.

Add the flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl and mix until a soft dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
