How To Make Meat Filled Manicotti Recipe

- 8 manicotti tubes
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Cooking spray
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the manicotti tubes according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.

In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the cooked ground beef mixture.

Spoon the meat mixture into a piping bag or a plastic sandwich bag with a corner snipped off. Pipe the mixture into each manicotti tube.

Spread a thin layer of crushed tomatoes in the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the filled manicotti tubes over the sauce.

Pour the remaining crushed tomatoes over the manicotti and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the manicotti cool for a few minutes before serving.
