Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes until softened.

  4. Toss in the cooked linguine pasta and mix well to coat with the tomato mixture.

  5. Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and black pepper.

  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and serve immediately.
