How To Make Vegetarian Caprese Pasta Salad Recipe

A summery, fresh and easy pasta salad with the classic Caprese combo of tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 250g of Fusilli Pasta
  • 2 cups of cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
  • 8 ounces of fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of dry basil
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to the directions on the package, drain and rinse with cold water.

  2. In a large bowl, combine pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil.

  3. To make the dressing, in another small bowl, whisk together dry basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Pour it over the pasta and toss well.

  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
