How To Make Delicious Spinach and Turkey Lasagna

Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 cups baby spinach, chopped
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chopped spinach, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the turkey and spinach mixture on the bottom. Top with 3 lasagna noodles. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, ending with a layer of the turkey and spinach mixture.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top layer. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the lasagna rest for a few minutes before serving. Slice and enjoy!
