How To Make Cheesy Broccoli Pasta Bake

Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets in the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in milk and continue stirring until mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Add cooked pasta and broccoli to the cheese sauce, stirring until well coated.

Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
