Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.

  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

  5. Stir in the cooked macaroni and crumbled bacon until well coated.

  6. Season with salt and black pepper.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
