Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup, for topping
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased loaf pan.

Spread the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup over the top of the meat loaf.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
