  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder.

  2. Gradually add the milk and melted butter, stirring until the dough comes together.

  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes until smooth.

  4. Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into squares or rectangles.

  5. In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Add the shredded chicken.

  6. Drop the dumplings into the simmering broth, one at a time.

  7. Cover the pot and let the dumplings cook for 15-20 minutes until they are cooked through and tender.
