How To Make Pork & Rosemary Lasagne

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 9 lasagne noodles, cooked according to package instructions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground pork over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.

  4. Return the cooked ground pork to the skillet and stir in the dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.

  5. Pour in the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.

  6. In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.

  7. Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange 3 lasagne noodles on top.

  8. Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the remaining meat sauce. Repeat the layers.

  9. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

  10. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  11. Let the lasagne cool for a few minutes before serving.
