How To Make Baked Polenta with Fresh Tomatoes and Parmesan

Ingredients
- 1 cup polenta
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Slowly pour in the polenta, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Add salt and continue stirring until the polenta thickens, about 5 minutes.

Remove the polenta from the heat and pour it into a greased baking dish. Smooth the surface with a spatula.

Arrange the tomato slices on top of the polenta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the polenta is golden and the tomatoes are softened.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
