Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh marjoram
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the broth to a boil.

  2. Gradually whisk in the cornmeal, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 25-30 minutes until the polenta is thick and creamy.

  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, marjoram, salt, and pepper.

  5. Serve hot and garnish with extra Parmesan and marjoram.
