Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your desired level of spiciness)
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
-
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
-
Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.
-
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
-
Remove the chops from the marinade and discard any excess marinade. Place the chops on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
-
Remove the chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat.
-
Serve the spicy Moroccan chops hot with your choice of sides, such as couscous, grilled vegetables, or a salad.
