How To Make Spicy Moroccan Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your desired level of spiciness)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.

  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Remove the chops from the marinade and discard any excess marinade. Place the chops on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  5. Remove the chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat.

  6. Serve the spicy Moroccan chops hot with your choice of sides, such as couscous, grilled vegetables, or a salad.
