Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt.

  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly on both sides of the salmon fillets.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crispy.

  6. Flip the fillets gently and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  8. Remove from the oven and serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro and lemon wedges.
