  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut the fish fillets into finger-sized pieces.

  3. In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.

  4. Dip each fish finger into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the fish fingers in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Bake the fish fingers in the preheated oven for an additional 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
