How To Make Caprese Stuffed Chicken Breast Recipe
Juicy chicken breasts filled with gooey mozzarella, fresh cherry tomatoes and fragrant basil, baked until golden brown.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella, shredded
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Cut a deep slit into the side of each chicken breast to form a pocket, making sure not to cut all the way through.

In a small mixing bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Stuff each chicken breast pocket with the caprese mix and secure with toothpicks.

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the stuffed chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.

Transfer skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove toothpicks from chicken and serve hot.
