How To Make Air Fryer Chimichangas

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, black beans, corn, cheddar cheese, salsa, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Place about 1/4 cup of the filling onto each tortilla, fold in the sides, and roll tightly.

  4. Brush the chimichangas with olive oil on all sides.

  5. Place the chimichangas in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.

  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.

  7. Serve hot with your favorite toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
