How To Make Fennel Seed and Apple Slaw
A refreshing salad with a mix of sweetness and tanginess, perfect for a light lunch or as a side dish.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 medium fennel bulb, thinly sliced
- 2 medium apples, cut into thin matchsticks
- 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp of honey
- 1 tbsp of fennel seeds
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the fennel, apples, parsley, and cilantro.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, honey, fennel seeds, salt, and black pepper.

Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is emulsified.

Pour the dressing over the fennel and apple mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
