  • 1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.

  2. Bring mixture to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer.

  3. Let the sauce cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it has thickened and the cranberries have burst.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool. Remove cinnamon stick and cloves before serving.
