How To Make Tarragon and Strawberry Shortcake Recipe
A classic shortcake recipe with a twist of tarragon and fresh strawberries. Perfect for a summer treat!

Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 tbsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 6 tbsp of unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 2 tbsp of fresh tarragon, chopped
- 1 lb of fresh strawberries, sliced
- Whipped cream, for serving
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.

Stir in the milk and tarragon until the dough forms.

Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and shape it into a circle, about 1 inch thick.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Let the shortcake cool completely before slicing it in half horizontally.

Top the bottom half with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.

Place the top half of the shortcake back on and serve.
