How To Make Walnut & Red Pepper Pesto Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 ounces of whole wheat pasta
- 1 cup of walnuts
- 2 red bell peppers, roasted and peeled
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a food processor, combine the walnuts, roasted red bell peppers, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper. Pulse until well combined.

Gradually add the olive oil while continuing to pulse, until the pesto reaches your desired consistency.

Toss the cooked pasta with the walnut and red pepper pesto sauce until well coated.
