How To Make Oregano and Italian Sausage Pasta
A flavorful and hearty pasta dish with oregano and Italian sausage.

Ingredients
- 8 oz. pasta
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, cook Italian sausage over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add tomato paste, chicken broth, oregano, and red pepper flakes to the pan and stir to combine.

Add the cooked sausage back to the pan and let simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the sausage and sauce over the cooked pasta and garnish with Parmesan cheese.
