How To Make Lemongrass and Chili Beef Skewers

Delicious skewers with tender beef infused with lemongrass and a spicy kick of chili.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, outer leaves removed and sliced thinly
  • 2 red chilies, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

  2. Thread sliced beef, lemongrass, and chili onto the skewers, alternating between ingredients.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper.

  4. Brush skewers with the soy sauce mixture.

  5. Grill skewers on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until beef is cooked to your preference.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
