Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 lemongrass stalks, outer layers removed and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, lemongrass, basil, garlic, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well to ensure that the chicken pieces are well coated with the mixture.

  2. Thread the chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers and place them on a preheated grill or grill pan.

  3. Grill the chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the edges are slightly charred.

  4. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
