How To Make Vegan Cauliflower Cheese

Ingredients
- 1 large cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup of bread crumbs
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat until warm.

In a small bowl, whisk together the nutritional yeast, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper.

Stir the nutritional yeast mixture into the warm almond milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Place the steamed cauliflower in a baking dish and pour the cheesy sauce over it. Mix well to ensure all the cauliflower is coated.

Sprinkle the bread crumbs evenly over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.
