How To Make Spicy Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cans (400g each) of diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until they become translucent and fragrant.

Pour in the diced tomatoes, red pepper flakes, paprika, dried oregano, and sugar. Stir well to combine.

Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 20-30 minutes, until the flavors meld together and the sauce thickens slightly. Stir occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
