How To Make Peach & Chilli Chutney

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 red chillies, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the peaches, red onion, red chillies, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, water, ground ginger, and salt.

  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.

  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened and the peaches are soft.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to a jar.

  5. Serve alongside grilled meats or with cheese and crackers.
