How To Make Mushroom Brunch Recipe

Who says vegetarians don’t get to enjoy savory meals? A taste of these authentic vegetarian recipes will make you change your mind. So, you just might want to go vegetarian after your first bite.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 eggs
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 5 minutes.

  2. Add the minced garlic and dried thyme to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, until fragrant.

  3. Season the mushroom mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispiness.

  5. In a separate skillet, fry the eggs to your desired doneness.

  6. To serve, place a slice of toasted bread on each plate. Top with a generous amount of the mushroom mixture. Place a fried egg on top of the mushrooms. Garnish with fresh parsley.

  7. Enjoy your delicious mushroom brunch!
