How To Make Marinated Fig & Mozzarella Salad

Ingredients
- 8 ripe figs
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Wash and slice the figs. Arrange them on a serving platter along with the mozzarella slices.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.

Drizzle the marinade over the figs and mozzarella. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve.
