How To Make Dosa
Who says vegetarians don’t get to enjoy savory meals? A taste of these authentic vegetarian recipes will make you change your mind. So, you just might want to go vegetarian after your first bite.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of rice
- 1 cup of urad dal (split black lentils)
- 1/2 cup of poha (flattened rice)
- 1/2 tsp of fenugreek seeds
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions

Rinse and soak rice, urad dal, poha, and fenugreek seeds separately in water for 4-5 hours.

Drain the water and grind them together into a smooth batter using a blender or grinder.

Add salt to the batter and mix well. Allow the batter to ferment overnight or for at least 8 hours in a warm place.

Heat a flat non-stick or cast-iron skillet on medium heat. Grease it lightly with oil.

Pour a ladleful of batter onto the center of the skillet and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.

Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the dosa. Cook until the bottom turns golden brown and crispy.

Flip the dosa gently using a spatula and cook for a minute on the other side.

Serve hot with coconut chutney, sambar, or any preferred side dish.
