Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 200g of cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp of piccalilli
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry and line a tart tin with it, trimming any excess.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese and piccalilli until well combined.

  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pastry base.

  5. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg to give it a golden crust.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and crisp.

  7. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into slices to serve.
