Ingredients
- 4 shots of espresso
- 4 cups of whole milk
- 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 4 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions

In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.

In a separate saucepan, mix the sugar and cocoa powder together. Gradually whisk in the hot milk until smooth. Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly.

Meanwhile, prepare the espresso shots.

In each serving glass, layer 1 shot of espresso, followed by a ladle of hot chocolate mixture.

In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.

Top each glass with a dollop of whipped cream.
