How To Make Vegan Air Fryer BBQ Tofu Recipe

Crispy, flavorful tofu with a tangy BBQ coating, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the tofu into slices or cubes, depending on your preference.

  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, cornstarch, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Dip each piece of tofu into the sauce mixture, making sure it is coated evenly.

  4. Place the tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, then flip the tofu and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

  5. Serve the tofu hot with additional BBQ sauce, if desired.
