How To Make Sweet Potato Casserole with Marshmallow Topping
A classic Thanksgiving side dish with a sweet and gooey marshmallow topping.

Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Peel and chop sweet potatoes into chunks. Boil in a large pot of water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Drain sweet potatoes and add them to a large mixing bowl. Mash with a potato masher.

Add softened butter, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.

Transfer to a greased 8-inch baking dish.

Top with mini marshmallows.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until marshmallows are golden brown.
