This is a fresh and flavorful Mexican salsa made with tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, cilantro, and lime juice.

Ingredients

  • 4 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, diced jalapeno, and chopped cilantro.

  2. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and stir well.

  3. Season with salt to taste. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

  4. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or grilled meats.
