How To Make Pear & Toffee Muffins
Delicious muffins with the perfect combination of sweet pears and toffee.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 ripe pears, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, milk, and eggs.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Gently fold in the diced pears and toffee bits.

Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes in the tin, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
